WordPress maintenance · Tamworth

WordPress maintenance in Tamworth that keeps the site off your worry list.

Maintenance is for businesses that do not want to spend their time worrying about plugin updates, backups, broken forms and whether a small WordPress problem is about to become a bigger one.

What I’m actually solving

The boring jobs matter when the website matters.

WordPress changes constantly. Core, themes, plugins, PHP versions and integrations all move independently, which is why a site that is never maintained eventually becomes harder to update safely. A maintenance plan gives the site regular attention and gives you somebody to contact when something does not look right.

Safer updates

Updates are applied with awareness of the website rather than ignored indefinitely or clicked blindly once a year.

Backups when something goes wrong

A usable backup gives repair work somewhere safe to return to.

A direct support route

When a form stops sending or a page behaves strangely, you already know who to ask.

What I can handle

One project can cover the whole job.

You should not need separate suppliers for the website, WordPress development, mobile experience and every small piece of custom functionality.

How I approach it

Build the right thing, then make the details work.

Regular care beats emergency repair

Small compatibility problems are much easier to address before several years of updates pile up.

Not every update deserves blind trust

Important sites should be backed up and checked rather than assuming every plugin update is harmless.

Support from somebody who knows WordPress

If a problem does occur, I can investigate the actual site rather than sending you through generic hosting support scripts.

Maintenance is not a redesign subscription

You retain control of the website. The plan pays for ongoing technical care and support, not the right to keep using your own site.

Local by default

Built in Tamworth. Useful well beyond it.

For Tamworth clients, maintenance also keeps the relationship simple after launch. You do not need to find a new developer every time WordPress throws up a warning or a plugin stops behaving.

Questions

Useful answers before you have to ask.

Do I need a maintenance plan?

You can maintain WordPress yourself if you are comfortable managing updates, backups and troubleshooting. The plan is useful when you would rather spend that time on the business.

Can you maintain a site you did not build?

Usually, yes. I will first review the installation, hosting and plugin stack so I know what I am taking responsibility for.

Does maintenance include unlimited development?

No. Normal maintenance covers the agreed care and support. Significant new features or redesign work are quoted separately.
