Featured project · GET Golf

A great website.
And a way to book it all.

I built GET Golf’s website and multi-activity booking system. Customers can explore available times for golf, racing and darts, then build their visit in one place.

  • Choose a date and see activity options
  • Explore times across different bays and resources
  • Bring activity choices into one booking basket

You might run a venue, take appointments or hire out equipment. I can build the booking journey around your business.

How it helps your business

Booking should be easier for both sides.

Simple booking tools are brilliant when the rules are simple. They become frustrating when you need different service lengths, reduced-rate slots, staff availability, deposits, rooms, resources, custom lead times or a branded customer journey. That is where a custom system starts to make sense.

Customers see real availability

Only the slots, services and resources that can genuinely be booked are presented.

Payments happen in the same journey

Stripe can handle cards and supported wallet payments without sending the customer through an unrelated checkout experience.

The business keeps control

Admin tools can block days, add appointments, change times, manage services and see bookings without editing the website itself.

What I can handle

One project can cover the whole job.

You should not need separate suppliers for the website, WordPress development, mobile experience and every small piece of custom functionality.

How I approach it

Build the right thing, then make the details work.

Design the rules first

Before code, I map what can be booked, by whom, for how long, at what price and what should happen when availability changes.

Keep the customer journey short

Customers should not need an account and a fifteen-field form just to reserve a straightforward appointment unless the business genuinely needs that information.

Give the admin proper controls

The person running the diary should be able to manage normal day-to-day changes without asking a developer to edit a database.

Build payments carefully

Successful payment, failed payment, cancelled payment and duplicate submission all need predictable behaviour.

Local by default

Built in Tamworth. Useful well beyond it.

A custom booking system can be particularly useful for Tamworth service businesses, venues, instructors and appointment-led companies that have outgrown generic scheduling software but do not need a huge enterprise platform.

Questions

Useful answers before you have to ask.

Can customers pay when they book?

Yes. Stripe can be integrated for card payments and supported wallet options such as Apple Pay where the account and browser support them.

Can I change my own available times?

Yes. A custom admin area can give you control over times, days, blocked dates and services.

Can the system send confirmations?

Yes. Customer and admin emails can be sent when a booking is created or payment succeeds.

Can you connect booking to an existing website?

Often, yes. The system can be built into an existing WordPress site or developed alongside a new website depending on the current setup.
