How long will it take to design my website?2020-12-18T13:15:33+00:00

The duration it takes to design and build a fully functioning website is based on various factors. Bespoke design work can take anywhere from one week up to four weeks, depending on the complexity of the project, having the written content and images available and eventually, the number of revisions it takes to get the final design checked off. Should you require your website to built as a matter of urgency, we will always make every effort to meet the timeframe you have in mind.

What is the average cost for a website?2021-09-04T10:53:58+00:00

It is difficult to give an average price for web design, due to the infinite variations in requirements for a website. Some web design companies might charge £1,000 or more for a basic web site, not including hosting fees. The more common range of prices that we come across on our competitors websites vary from around £200-£400 for a 4-6 page template-based website, up to a fully bespoke design costing in the region of £700 – £1500.

For an accurate quote, it’s always a good idea to contact your chosen web designer and give them as much information as possible.

How much do you charge for web design services?2021-09-04T10:54:17+00:00

All of the websites we create are unique, we never use the same theme or template for the two different companies, unlike some of our local competitors. For a simple brochure style website our prices are usually around the £250-£450 mark. Pricing for more bespoke web design and our other services are detailed on our pricing page. Our aim is to help you determine and control the amount you want to invest in taking your company forward. We are always happy to prepare you a detailed quotation breaking down any costs involved before work begins.

Can I see my website whilst it’s being built?2020-12-18T13:17:41+00:00

You certainly can! In fact, we encourage our clients to tune in while we’re working. We will usually build your website on a development server and provide you with a username and password so that you can log in and monitor the progress of your website build. During this design phase, if something isn’t quite right with the design or if you’ve changed your mind on something, we encourage you to let us know so we can rectify any issues. Once your site is ready and you have given it your seal of approval, we will help you to migrate and launch your new website on your server, or set it live on our and submit your URL to all of the major search engines.

Are there any free service add-ons?2020-12-18T13:19:57+00:00

Yes! With every website we design, we include a .co.uk domain name and unlimited web and email hosting and a FREE SSL Certificate for the first 12 months. This means that for the first year of your website being live, you won’t have to spend another penny. If at the end of the 12 months you wish to renew your domain name and continue hosting your website with us, we will send you an invoice to cover the cost of the add-on services.

When do I have to pay for my new website?2020-12-18T13:23:45+00:00

Most of the time we can proceed with your new website design without any payment at all. And we’ll only ask you for payment once the design is finished and you are happy to go live.

Sometimes, for certain small projects we will require a deposit of £50 to proceed with the design and build of your new website, with the remaining balance being paid upon completion of the project, prior to going live! For larger projects, an initial payment of 10% of the total fee is sometimes required, with the final balance due upon completion of the project, prior to going live!
